One of the joys of EquiTeam is the variety of discussion that we have. And we always try to support members when issues are raised. So we agreed to be product testers for something that matters to lots of group members.. Is it a massage pad? New stirrups? A fancy saddle? Nope! On behalf of EquiTeam, Lou and I are testing NIXI Body Pants.

One of my goals this year is to get back competing. I like to wear beige for dressage, and white breeches for jumping. However, I do have a fear when I have my period that it is noticeable if you know what I mean! I like my breeches to be fitted, so wearing anything too thick is not an option.
Delivery wise, they arrived the day after being ordered, in a neat box package which did not declare on the outside what they were! They arrived in a little box, which I have kept so that if I was packing them to take competing, I could make sure they didn’t fall out the car into a muddy puddle!
The Nixi pants are very stretchy, made of soft silky material – and according to my Hubbie are nicer than the “granny pants” I normally wear. I ordered a size large, which fitted perfectly (I’m normally a 14). They were not tight, and still have plenty stretch left in them.
Super comfortable
I wore them to work and they were exceptionally comfortable. I then wore them for my jump lesson with Frankie. I’ll be honest, again they were really comfy and I did not leak at all – which has been an issue before.
My final check was whether they “shone” through my white breeches. What better gift to give Stevie on Valentines than to take a pic of my bum while I shouted “can you see my knickers”! Delighted to report that they do not shine through, and I would happily wear them under white breeches – and because EquiTeam Connected is a safe space, here is the proof!

I have been hearing lots of good things about these pants for a while now and after hearing marathon runner Helen Thorne raving about them recently, I decided we needed to see if they lived up to the hype and if they would be suitable for riding too.
I’ve not been on a horse for various reasons, but I have been testing the NIXI The Susie pants out while running and playing some fast paced netball games. Lots of jumping around and I would 100% agree with all the reviews that I already heard that these are indeed a comfy pair of pants. I’m not sure that they would quite fit with Dr. Andy’s description of your best pants… but they do give confidence for other reasons! Super comfy and zero leakage!
One of my pet hates is an obvious VPL, but with the seamless design of these, means you can’t see a line a pant line at all, even in leggings.
You do have to wash the pants without fabric softener and it does say on the label to dry naturally, so I wouldn’t hang them on the radiator or put them in the tumbler dryer, but I have already washed and worn mine several times, they haven’t shrunk at all and still fit exactly as they did brand new.
